Please share a photo of a watch that you were gifted...

My wife and I married 14 years ago (4/12/2008) and on our wedding day, she gave me this Seiko chronograph.  It's very near and dear to my heart.  I make sure I wear it at least once a week no matter what. I'm hoping I can get everyone to share a photo of a watch that they were gifted, who gave it to you, and why you love it!  Please share!!

LOL. Same my wife gifted this Seiko to me around 2008/2009

In 2020 she gifted me two watches:

For my first Father's Day, my wife and newborn bought me a Seiko 5 SNK809.  She even found someone to laser engrave a personalized message on the rear glass, which I'm sure some folks will balk at as it obscures the movement, but for me it's priceless.

I’ve got 2 watches that were given to me as gifts this Certina for my 30th birthday from my wife.

And this pocket watch that was given to me when I was a groomsman at my mate’s wedding and my son (his godson) was the ringbearer.

Aside from the Swatch I had as a kid, this is the only watch I’ve ever received as a gift.

My wife got me this Vostok for my birthday at the beginning of the year. I hadn't worn a watch for 17 years. Something about it really struck a chord. I've purchased 8 more since then.

This was an early birthday gift from my wife some years ago.

And, this was a birthday present from my daughters

My first watch as adult, a birthday gift from my brother - a Movado Masino. Sleek, elegant, yet sporty. A dangerous start to this slippery slope.

From my late father. He gave it to me for my 40th birthday- I was on a hospital bad in cardiac intensive care after a heart attack, when he showed me he bought me one…

Gift from my wife for our 5th wedding anniversary. Also my first chronograph. She knew how much I had been lusting after this watch, and surprised me… as I remember my gift for her was… a little lackluster, haha. Forever cherished now.

The only watch I've ever been gifted. From my mom about 40 years ago. It hasn't run in probably 20 years,  I keep this Seiko tank for sentimental value.

I have a Timex sprite that my parents bought me in 1979!

The original strap went long ago, but give her a wind and she still runs fine.

Image

The new strap (16mm lug) fits me, but the watch is so tiny and dear to me, that I never wear it.  Its not worth much, but its the one watch I couldnt part with.
