I collect watches and fountain pens. Anyone else?
Mostly collect independent watch brands lately and urushi and maki-e fountain pens. It’s the handcraft that appeals most.

A Sailor 1911 in Urushi/maki-e, nice! I never had the patience to wait for a maki-e pen to be done. The only pen I considered getting done was an Edison Pearl in ebonite. The ink window was a problem though and I did not want it covered up so I decided against it.
Same here! I collect Urushi, Chinkin, and Maki-E fountain pens along with mechanical watches. I have a Sailor 1911 Tsuru with a medium nib and love it!
