New guy who finally bought a grail watch
hello everyone,
I heard about this forum from watching Max’s YouTube videos. I’m active on a few other forums but getting sick of the elitism and negativity. I’ve been buying and selling watches for about 5 years now trying to fill the void of a grail watch. I finally bought my grail watch a few months ago and wish I had just bought it in the first place!

Grail watches are: Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, and Audemars Piguet. May be Rolex but not in may book. Did you mean to say "exit watch" ? ie the watch that you would never intend to sell ? But exit watches are rare watches that you won't be able to replace.

"Grail" is a very derivative term, which means different things to different people. At the end of the day, a grail is just a watch someone really wants. OP got the watch they wanted, so let's send a solid congratulations!

Never heard of exit watch, but interesting concept. For me it’s a grail watch because it was the one I always wanted And never thought to actually buy myself. Funny that you mentioned the brands above. I was at a wedding tonight and noticed that the grooms brother was wearing a Nautilis. I asked him about it and he had no idea what it was, he said it was a gift. He was also wearing it backwards by the way. I guess one man’s grail can be another man’s backwards watch sometimes.
I guess the term exit watch could possibly mean the watch is not easily replaced because of the memories?
