Sort of new to watches, sort of not…
Accidental watch collector, in the sense that once I got into watches via things like YouTube during the pandemic, I had a rummage and since I hadn’t thrown a watch out in about thirty years — though had changed them — I had a ‘collection’. Couple of passed-down or inherited, nothing too posh — and a new liking for modern homage watches. (Bond has given me a liking for Seamaster styled watches) Though with a preference for those that aren’t straight copies, I thought I would give this place a try as a couple of the watch channels I like and give credibility to recommend it.

Welcome - similar situation (my "collection" includes a dress watch with an integrated band that was a graduation present in the early '80s... and doesn't come close to fitting, a few Y2K-era quartz field watches, and a decade-old Seiko chrono that had been sitting in a drawer since I got an Apple Watch Series 1).
