The “Chubby” dress watch…

The SPB267 Arita Porcelain dial is just amazing artistry ( we’re not going to talk about the cluttered dial… she‘s a little sensitive) I love the watch but she’s a bit of a chubster. I measured the case thickness including the crystal and all it’s about as thick as a Black Bay Heritage about 15.+mm. I was a little surprised by its thickness for a “dress watch“ but hey Thick is in!! Ask Sir mix a lot and Lizzo…

It’s definitely worth to check out, the more you look and stare at the watch I find myself smiling cuz she’s just thick and pretty 😍

Yeah, but the side profile shot says a lot. It may be thick, but it's not so obvious. Compared to that slab-sided Black Bay, it look's positively svelte.

She’s got sexy curves 😆

I used to own the Presage Cocktail time with the "ice blue" dial in this same configuration (power reserve indicator and calendar sub dial), but it was just too thick for me. I usually wear a dress shirt to work and I couldn't fit it under a cuff hahaha. It's a shame, because it was such a beautiful dial! The porcelain dial on yours is just as stunning, and an absolute bargain for a real porcelain dial!

Seiko and their dials! This looks good enough to eat off of.... I'm not sure that's how that saying goes or works.....but yum.

sigh... Yet again, I simply don't understand Seiko's dress watch game. While I love their quirkiness, which makes some of their watches hard to categorize, I can't help but feel sad that I would never buy this beauty. At least not in this configuration...

The Arita ones are very interesting.  Looking forward to seeing in person.

Once I received a small Arita vase as a gift from a friend and it had that great bluish super white tint.  Seems like interesting idea for a dial.
