Proportions
I’ve owned the #seiko SPB183 blue willard for almost a year now and if you see my previous posts you guys will know I’ve dubbed my blue willard my all time favorite Seiko as this watch has in my humble opinion the perfect lug-to-lug, thickness and overall proportions for a Seiko diver.
For me, you can’t beat the looks, feel and overall proportions of a vintage 4-digit reference Rolex. My Rolex Datejust 1603 fits like a glove. The overall lug-to-lug, thickness and feel of the watch feels amazing on wrist. My datejust dates back to 1964 and I’m the third generation in my family to own this watch. I hope to have kids one day and pass it down to a 4th generation. This Datejust is our family’s heirloom watch and this is definitely never leaving my collection.
