I saw the SBGW289 cheery cherry at Rodeo Jewlers here in YVR if anyone in Canada is trying to track down a non grey market option for that watch.  Petite size and pinkier than a 413 were my impressions.  Didn’t try it on wrist however.  Did try out a champagne for fun though!

I thought about getting this one for my partner as he has a smaller wrist. As we spoke about it, turns out I wanted it for him much more than he did, lol. 
 

But thanks for thinking of me!  If I had not of just purchased an Omega AT last month I’d be very tempted by the peacock. But I see the green bamboo version being part of my life next year. Or next bonus 🤣

Wait, I live in San Diego, where's this AD?!

It's Westime in La Jolla, on Prospect Street.  I walked in there and they got a ton of GS just sitting there.  And I think it's because it's a tourist destination, right?  While I was in there, a number of folks came in looking at Breitlings and Omegas, but nobody seemed even remotely like a watch nerd.  

I can imagine a bunch of beach goers walking into the store and impulse buying a Breitling or Omega...  but who's gonna think to themselves, "Oh, I gotta get me a Seiko...  a GRAND Seiko"?

In addition to the SBGW289 and SBGJ261, they had the new SBGJ259 and a brand new, still in plastic SLGA001, and the SBGA413.

You should go check it out!  They got some Mosers and MB&F and other cool stuff in there too.

Ever since I saw the silverish opaline dial with the orange seconds hand I haven’t been about to get this watch off my mind. My AD had a Labor Day sale which helped a bit. Apparently this is one of their hottest selling models so they aren’t always in stock. I LOVE it.

Thanks!  I don’t know what it is about a pop of orange, but it lures me in every time. 

I know I love orange myself hence I got drawn to the Apple Watch ultra cuz of the orange I think the crown and action buttons plus goes well with orange strap…
