I have no idea what this is. A scarf? I don’t know. But, it’s nice. Maybe you can fold it up into a pocket square, as you sip cocktails?
All proceeds go to GiveDirectly. GiveDirectly DIRECTLY sends on funds to recipients in some of the poorest countries on Earth, with an incredible track record to-date. The effort sprang out of the Effective Altruism movement.

The first 6 auctions worked out spectacularly, in which our esteemed colleagues, @Bessio's and @Robcollects's and @Ichibunz’s and @Deeperblue's and @Edge168n’s and @Jklotz’s winning bids helped to raise $1,350 and $900 and $2,000 and $3,294 and $1,080 and $1,080, respectively, for a number of Kenyan families. These are families earning less than the global poverty line of $1.90 / day. All of the auction proceeds went directly to them, and the funds from the 6 auctions thus far will effectively double the incomes of 27 families for a year!

Here's what I propose:
- Let's open up bidding on the watch at, say, $20
- Please post your bid by commenting below
- The highest bid by Wednesday, August 10, 12pm PT wins the watch and scarf / pocket square
- Here’s where we do some real good for charity: If you are the winning bidder, please then Paypal or Venmo me the winning bid amount. I will make the donation of your winning bid, plus I will match that amount, to double the donation… But that’s not all folks! My employer will then do a full 100% match of that combined amount! Thus, every $1 of the winning bid will get multiplied by 4!!! Let me say that again - every $1 of the winning bid will turn into $4 donated to GiveDirectly!!!
- I will then post the screen shot of the full donated amount!
So, in summary:

- Have the entirety of the proceeds go towards lifting a family out of extreme poverty

Love it! Here is an idea: I hope the winning bidder loves the watch and has it forever. If, however, they sell it down the line, how about they also do a charitable auction with it and encourage the next owner to do the same. That's what I plan to do with the victorinox I won in the last auction. We can start a string of good karma watches!

Are you by chance auctioning off your Zenith Academy Georges Favre-Jacot chain fussee? You know I'm digging deep to win that one. I love Kenyans and they may need the sale of this wacth before I can get your chain fussee and that Presage dial is speaking to to me as well.
Them moon swatches should be doing that setting charities form purchase saving the earth and good causes.

Just wanna add, I have this watch and it is one of my favorites. Beautiful dial, soft leather strap, total class piece. Was a JDM limited edition as well, so grabbing this watch here vs the gray market is a total win!
