Good job on the clean, and a cracking watch, personally think the kamasu is one of the best bang for your buck watches out there(I've got the pvd version on rubber)👍
The Kamasu was the first watch my wife ever got me. The red one. It's a beauty but I'm not sold on the stem. Anyone else have a hard time screwing that thing back in?

Thank you! I agree, for the money you get so many features, and a great design.

I will say that screwing down the crown can be a challenge if the watch is at half-wind or more, since there doesn’t appear to be the clutch mechanism that is in higher quality winding stem mechanisms. It doesn't bother me a ton though.

Wow, thanks! I've never heard of that. See, THIS is a perfect example of why watch forums are awesome. Helping a brother out.

No problem! Shoot yeah I didn’t even know it was a thing until I bought a different diver. I wound it up a bit to get everything going since it was brand new, and I noticed that when I went to screw the crown back in, it wasn’t also winding the watch like how it will with the Orient Kamasu. Turns out I was late to the party and the mechanism has been around for a while. It has its quirks though, sometimes this type of clutch mechanism can malfunction. I just try not to think about it 😂

A nice clean watch is always a happy watch.
