I just purchased a long desired watch, and am waiting for it to come in. But now, I'm turning toward Grand Seiko with some serious interest. Still narrowing down which one though.
Not saving for a watch at all. I could simple move funds that are in-between investments, and buy what I want. Oddly enough that makes it less meaningful.
I'm just waiting to see if something is a meaningful upgrade to something I already own. I'm quite at a loss at this point.
Nothing. My last watch became available way sooner than I thought. I had saved about half the money I needed to get it when I was surprised with it's availability. I didn't want to turn it down, so I broke my rule and got it on credit. I paid half off right away and the rest I owe is 0% interest, but I still have a little bit left to pay on that.
I'm not really saving, as I have the money to buy it now, but I'm waiting on a Tudor Pelagos FXD. It's probably going to be 4+ more months until it shows up, so I am setting aside a little money into a special fund for it. But if I got the call tomorrow I would have the money to pick it up.
I agree, that is my favorite color combo too, but I already have the AT with the silver/white dial and orange seconds hand, so I am eying this one for the collection :-)
If you're looking for recommendations the BigEye is chefs kiss for Chronograph value.
Thanks. Yes, it's one of the options i've looked at. I go from the Spirit line to dress to chronograps, back and forth. So I really have a hard time deciding. Well, I'm in no hurry so just have to let the thoughts "marinate" for a while, and see next year when I have the funds to buy something.
Right now I'm planning on grabbing a Cartier Santos sometime here soon, still deciding between two tone or not, but I love the design and will likely be making it the next watch that I purchase.
Not so much saving just on the waiting list for a Tudor FXD
Saving for the new Speedy pro 3861 sapphire sandwhich. Should be purchasing second half of March.
Hoping to buy a Longines next year. Not sure what model yet, as it changes from day to day.
I turn 40 next August, so I am saving for a birthyear speedy or sub. I might not end up getting either but I am saving for one.
Great choice, have it on the bracelet
Having just saved and purchased the black 58, I can say it will be totally worth it! And I agree the extra for the bracelet is so worth it.
If you're worried about not having on-the-fly adjustment, this extension link is great.

My February heating bill… but if I survive that, maybe a Tudor Prince Date-Day.

A « weekender » on a comfortable SS bracelet… maybe an IWC Mark XX.

My next purchase will be this, to replace the Pepsi version I had. I wished I went with the orange from day 1:
That being said, I am currently saving up for this:
Cincinnati Watch Company P-40 Mechanical.
SBGE205

my next impulse buy ... 😍, 💸, 🥳, 😭.
Alimony! 😜🤣
Grand Seiko 'Kuuki' (SBGW291G) or possibly GS SBGW231.
Will probably pick one of these up in the new year.
Glashutte Original PanoMaticLunar. Once I get this, I feel like I'll cool off on buying anything for a while.

I’m really drawn to the retro style of the Hamilton Intramatic mechanical, reverse panda. It just has such a compelling look.

What an absolute dream watch, I'd love to get the green dial myself one day.
126710 Pepsi - So got plenty of time to save!! 😜
Pretty sure this will be my tax return watch 🤣. Been thinking about it ever since the WindUp Watch Fair in NYC.
The Olmsted white dial and Orange seconds is 😍!!

A new drinking water well. 300’ of hard rock drilling with an 8” steel casing. ⛏️
After I recover from that a SEAMASTER 300 in blue I think. 234.30.41.21.03.001
The black is really sexy too... 234.30.41.21.01.001
Having a hard time deciding.
