For me it would be the Pelagos. I tend not to like things that use form over function, and I can’t think of many other watches other than a g shock square that has function at its core as much as the Pelagos.
The rather large size would have to be tolerated for functionality and aesthetic practicality. The plating will wear with everyday wear, but I can just keep replacing it every 10-15 years, right?
I’d probably take my OG 58. It’s a very adaptable little package: coloring that walks that line between dressy and sporty, convenient standard 20mm lug width, slim case profile, 70hr reserve and rated for 200m. I am sure there are equally deserving pieces with similar specs… but this is the one I own, 😂
It would have to be my BB58 on a bracelet. 4 years my go to do everything watch and still going strong. Notice how the sun has turned the numbers and indices on the dial silver instead of the original vintage tan color.
Only one watch would be a real struggle but for me it would be my Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. In brushed titanium, on the sailcloth strap, it is very comfortable, extremely well made and doesn't attract attention.
From watches outside of my collection, I'd probably go for a 36mm Rolex Explorer 1. The Explorer is just dressy enough to go with all my outfits, both casual and somewhat formal occasions but at the same time it's tough enough to be used as a daily outdoors watch.

I don't have the BB58, yet. I'm still saving up for it. How is it living with this stunning Tudor? 😅
Marathon GSAR on an Erika's MN.
I haven’t purchased that watch yet, so I’m going to have to keep buying until I find it!
There's a post here, but I can't make out what it's talking about.
Can anyone translate?
If I HAD to have just one? And from my current collection? Below, cause I love it the most.
If ANY one watch? See below. Why? Cause DAMN!
Has to be my new Moonwatch! I’m a space nerd and watch nerd… best of both worlds!

love those both!!!
200M WR, classic looks that can pull off casual or dressy (in a pinch), and the ability to track multiple time zones? It's literally a GADA.
Too hard to choose so I'm out

I don't have many options.
Definitely titanium.
I've not tried this Citizen yet but maybe.
As for why - comfort is first. Then I need digital timers and alarms. And night visibility. Etc.
And lastly it should look okay though that's not my biggest concern. At least not look stupid.
Great watch by the way. Love the blue and the strap is perfect with it.
I haven't found one yet. But the Tudor BB58 is close. If it had a T-fit clasp and a date, it would likely be a contender.
Congrats! Which one did you pick up?
I got the Black Bay Blue leather strap. Love how the bezel clicks :)
The one I'm wearing today (i.e. it would be a very short life)

Great minds think alike ;)
At least from the watches I currently own.

Easy question. This was my first luxury watch. My now ex wife was furious at me for purchasing it. I kept the watch, not her. It was the right choice.

The same answer I gave on the other post, the Grand Seiko SBGM221G
Prolly this one.
Or maybe this somewhat older version.
In any event, it'd be one of my vintage Tudor Submariners.
Speedmaster for me!
I would wear my Black Bay 58. It was given to my by my wife for our wedding. It was my first luxury timepiece and for me it's priceless

Looks absolutely stunning. I'm saving up for it, hopefully I'll get one in the near future
