Nice To See MIDO Getting Some Attention In The North American Market!

I really like the MIDOs in my collection for their great fit and finish, original design language, and interesting heritage. I rarely see them"in the wild" however, which is a shame. They're definitely underrated in Swatch group's offerings, overshadowed by Hamilton and Tissot, but it's nice to see them get a bit of attention lately!

Any other MIDO enthusiasts out there? Let's see them!

That second watch is an intriguing piece, is that an equally sized seconds counter with a date complication peeking out underneath?

I'm not a MIDO owner (maybe in the future) but that new Blue Ocean Star Heritage - date only - looks so tempting. Either that or their Limited Edition GMT collab with Hodinkee with their beautiful retro vibes.

I have the blue Ocean Star GMT and love it. It is a very good looking watch in my mind and the accuracy for me has been -1.3 sec/day with an 80 hour power reserve (although that kind of power reserve is overkill for me). I've read Mido is the best selling watch in Latin America. I can see why. It's a great watch in general and an even greater watch in value.
