Corgeut a safety alternative with a Seiko meca-quartz.

Now with this hype about watch brands, apart from being ostentatious, it is dangerous to occupy some of our toys like my two Speedy, so I decided to buy this toy that allows me to travel calmly and safely on any city street. Some hate them, some love them, some of us use them for what they are... just toys.

Honest question, with a fear being mugged, do you think the average would be mugger would know this is a homage from 10 feet? Most reported mugging attempts, they are not looking closely. It seems they charge and or/strike, grab, and run. They will be a mile or more away before they realize it is not the real thing. I truly ask, is it worth wearing a homage and assuming the same risk? Is it safer to wear a watch with a unique original design that will not be mistook for something more expensive, thus removing a potential element of harm?

Genuinely curious, I will wear any watch anywhere, but if I had a fear, I would just wear something no one would notice, but still equally awesome. The thought of getting hit over the head for wearing a Pagani Design mistaken for a Rolex seems like insult to literal injury when many other alternatives exist.

I believe that in any of the cases there is some risk, either of sight or appearance, but what interests me personally is that if they take that watch, maybe I lost 75 USD, but if they take my Speedy premoon, They would take a watch that has three generations in my family and my loss would go beyond the material.

As I said, toys, whims that serve to measure time.

I understand that, but many would be spotters look for a few select models. For example, if you were perhaps wearing a non popular model, you greatly reduce the risk of anyone recognizing it and doing you harm.

It is correct, however, who better than us to know that aesthetics is aesthetics, in any case, it seems that with "hype" that has occurred, practically having a watch that goes out of the normal standards is walking with a little risk.

We have to be very careful.
