Next on the Gasworks bench...

I'm currently waiting for parts on a few things including the Citizen below that has @Guvnor64's name on it. The case is done, the bracelet needs work and the movement has a new balance on the way.

I'm also waiting for a new escape wheel on the Seiko below.. some may remember I buggered the dial (little white dot at 2 mins to midnight) but its still quite pretty..

So... in the meantime I'm looking at the little chap above. It's not working at all so that'll be fun but hopefully I can get it running sweetly with a service (and new parts where necessary) and give it a good tidy up.

I'll post pics when all three are done.

I'm thinking you should move into vintage Orients at some point soon...in case you are not busy enough!? I know you have that older diver but I reckon some of the older dress models would be interesting?

Been looking on eBay for exactly that. Nothing tickling my fancy atm.

Yep I've been looking recently at their older stuff. All sorts of weird and wonderful stuff, a lot more unconventional than seiko. It's another rabbit hole to fall down!

How do you about sourcing parts for such old watches?

Trade account at Cousins is helpful but eBay is also useful for some things. I've also built up a fair donor/ spare parts "bin" over the years.
