Does anyone have any experience with the Forzo brand?
I was looking at a number of panda style watches after watching a review of the Seiko Speedtimer and these popped up...
They're a "British" owned/designed brand but are more than likely assembled in China. These watches have a Seiko VK63 meca-quartz movement, a 316L stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal, 100 Meters water resistance, screw down crown and a solid, screw in link bracelet with solid end links
Priced at £400
Sized reasonably at 40mm width, 47mm Lug to lug length and a 20mm lug width.
Anyone able to offer any real world customer experience?
A self-confessed Seikophile who spends far too much time looking at bits of watches under a microscope. Probably the finest restorer of vintage Seikos in my house. https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/gasworks

That'll be a "no" then 🤣
They look nice enough but are definitely overpriced. Better options out there.
$300, sure. $500...nope.
I just ordered one a little over a week ago. It was the Drive King 70s Summer limited edition of 50 with blue dial and Skipper style subdial (I am a sucker for that Skipper look). It was a pre-order so I'll get back to you in a few months when it will be delivered.
I agree they are overpriced for what they are component-wise - mine cost $475. I have purchased other products from WatchGecko including a Geckota watch which I have been pleased with.
Here's the image of the Drive King I ordered:
Here's the Geckota on wrist - a little flimsy and runs the Seagull ST1901, but nice looking watch.

@ChronoGuy did you receive your watch? What are your thoughts? I am considering the Drive king too...

Yes - I really like it. Looks really well made and wears great.
It came with a couple of extra straps, but I've been wearing it on the bracelet.
Here's a wrist shot...7.5 inch wrist for reference...
Looks great. I'm tempted.
I'm not a really a Chrono guy. The few mechaquartz I've actually handled felt janky when you engaged the pusher.
How do these watches feel?
You can get one of these watches by an incredible price right now on the Watchgecko store. They are part of their "Nearly New" program. I just got mine and it looks incredible for the $230 US I payed. It also came with the updated quick-release brazalet. I'm loving it so far.
Here it is for anyone interested

Thanks for the link. Picked this up for £199; it's just arrived and as far as I can tell it's perfect. All the stickers in place... now to size it and enjoy wearing it...
Happy to share a good deal with a fellow enthusiast. Enjoy it!
