I bought this Doxa homage from Seestern. It was honestly a fantastic watch, but I sold it to make room for others and wanted the real Doxa anyway. I sold it on Ebay and the gentleman gave me an address for a marina and a person by the name of Skip Busby. I inquired and he affirmed that it was a real name and it was his father. You see, Skip lived on his boat and owned a Doxa, but something in it broke. The son was going to get it fixed eventually, but wanted get him something comparable in the meantime. I only had two requirements: that his father tell me if he liked it and to send a photo of it on his arm. He obliged some weeks later and there it was, a sun wrinkled old arm wearing my watch and a “he loves it!” I’ve lost that photo but here they are side by side. Couldn’t have asked for a better story.

Thank you! I was like "you mean to tell me my Doxa homage lives on accompanying the wrist of an old salty dog man named Skip Busby who lives in his boat??" Lol
