John Wick's Watch

This caught my eye while watching the trailer for John Wick 4.

Is it still the Carls F Bucherer Manero AutoDate? I know that's what he wore in previous movies.

Anybody got first hand experience with this one? It seems very elegant and with Keanu Reeves on it I'm very interested.

The Manero AutoDate features:

  • Swiss Made Automatic movement (CFB caliber 1965) with 25 jewels and 42 hours power reserve
  • Date window at 3 o’clock
  • Anti-reflective sapphire crystal
  • 30m water resistance
  • Louisiana alligator leather band with stainless steel pin buckle
  • 38 x 8.75mm case

Also, how do you feel about wearing a watch on the inside? cool? stupid? meh?

Must I also wear a gun to pull it off? 😜

That's definite the Manero Auto date...though oddly with the crown pulled out.

I have worn a watch on the inside before but it doesn't feel particularly comfortable to me.

No but perhaps you might carry a pencil or two.

Don't have a permit for pencils... 😢

When I would exclusively wear under 20 casios, I'd turn my watch around like that when I was like using a shovel or other manual labor like that, to hopefully protect the watch a bit.

I think he wears it like that as a character choice, the tactical rifleman’s watch position.

I imagine Carl F. B. would continue to have rights for the remainder of the series if they were smart with their contract details and whatnot.

Nice combo with the 2011 Taran Tactical?
