Is this Watch too Big for my Wrist?

Heya there thanks for taking the time to respond to this post! I first wanted to thank the people who comment on my content I really appreciate it and I try to answer as much as I can! I officially have a Swatch Orientation tomorrow which I'm very much excited about, however I'm concerned that all the swatches I own is too big and it's kind of required for me to wear one.

Any body have any opinions on this piece? Dead on it looks too big but from a small distance back because of the translucent lugs it doesn't look as bad as it could? It is comfortable to wear and theres still an extra hole in the strap if need be but feels tight enough. Anybody have any recommendations?

Is it still too big in your eyes? Is it on the edge? I honestly am open to all the words of advice you can give

It does not look too big to me, but I wear a Seiko Samurai most days (44 mm width). Because, like your’s, the lug to lug is pretty short in addition to that width, it wears pretty comfy! If it wears comfy I say wear it.

Good to know and that honestly reassures me and calms me down somewhat! And that's one heck of an awesome watch that you got then!

To each his own and if its comfortable then wear it if you like it.

But to answer your question, yes I think it looks to big. For context I have a wrist somewhere between 6.5 and 6.75 and usually wear watches in the 36mm too 38mm range. The second pic you've provided appears to show the bezel reaching both edges of your wrist.

IMO, yes it's too big. My rule of thumb is that the band/bracelet must curve out slightly rather than hang straight down or be undercut. Your strap appears to hang straight down. Lug length is key, and some large watches do fit better than others.

Worse than the diameter, your watch seems rather thick too. Thick watches tend to smash into things and also get stuck under cuffs with long sleeved shirts or jackets. For anything close to that relative size I prefer slimmer watches. My G-Shock is way too thick for long sleeves.

It's on the edge, but since you are selling them, you want it to be noticed and you need to rock it with confidence. Many who want a MoonSwatch will have small wrists, too...

On the edge. Everything looks horribly oversized when photographed up close. And it's a blooming Olympic commemorative watch, so great leniency is afforded anyway.

·

It may look a bit manly but its not oversized. So you good and if it bothers you just wear it with a long sleeve and...WaLa! problem solved.👍 Best part is a bigger swatch not a heavy watch.

Looks good! Own the size for sure. When I out on a tiny watch I own it - same with a big case watch. This watch doesn't look huge on you IMO. Just own and enjoy it

Given your age, aesthetic and size, no it’s not too big. By any stretch. It’s a statement piece and that’s how you wear it.

The classic answer would be probably on the edge, but everything is about context.

Go rock it big man. Hope your first day went well 💵
