Which is the superior watch? Hydroconquest v. Cap'n Cook

I should clarify, I currently own two of each model. I've got in mind which I currently believe to be the better watch but that changes from week to week. So, I want to hear what the crowd thinks! (Price point and build, imo, is quite similar on these two making this a fair battle!)

The Rado is definitely the less popular one, might be because of how little they advertise compared to Longines. I like it!

The challenge you pose is pretty tough to answer. They are both great watches in their own right but very different.

I don’t want to write a book on the pros and cons of each so I will boil it down to one simple question: which would I sell first. Answer, I would sell the Captain Cook first. The tie-breaking reason: the Captain Cook’s bracelet has no form of fine adjustment and my wrist is between links. I’ve had it on a strap but meh. With a better bracelet or clasp, this could be an only watch.

The LHC is super, super comfortable on me. I wouldn’t replace mine with a 12, 6, 9 dial as shown above. I love the full numeral dial on mine. It’s one of the oldest models in my collection and one that I’ve never considered selling or trading.

Neither is superior.

Depending on an individuals preferences and needs, it's a dead heat.

My biggest dislike of the Rado was the lack of micro-adjustments. For that price point it's ridiculous not to have that option. However, my primary dislike of the Longines is the crappy clasp. Once again, in that price range it should be a better clasp on the bracelet.

I love longines but the Hydroconquest is their base model and the captain cook is probably just a little Better done as it’s higher in rados catalogue. I own a Hydroconquest and love it alot but the bracelet is not perfect
