New dial came in, what kind of case should I use?

Got this nice little 28.5mm dial for a good price on eBay. The only thing I can see is that a couple of the lume pips are not centered but I’m okay with that because I’ve been wanting a watch with a green dial for a while now.

Should I just copy the Alpinist or try something else?

I would say have fun with it. A direct copy feels like something less than the original to me.

So I decided on doing a captain Willard alpinist mod. Since it’s a diver I’m gonna call it the Captain Kelpanist. Now I just have to wait forever for the parts to get here…
