Right now the Hamilton is probably my favorite watch that I own. When I bought it, it was a definite step up in quality over the entry level seikos and citizen chrono. Since I have a large wrist I went for the 42mm, the long lug to lug length makes that even better for me.
From a distance the dial is pretty standard but I like the added texture that photos don't always pick up.
The h10 movement in mine has an 80 power reserve and has been running about +1 second a day.
Though the watch is a strap monster I usually have it on the bracelet. Inmy option this bracelet is almost perfect, it would be nice if it had more micro adjustment points but it fits my wrist really well do its not an issue for me.
On the negative side the crystal should have an anti reflective coating, I know an aftermarket crystal is an option but until the watch needs serviced I can't be bothered to replace the factory crystal.
Also the lume isn't that bright but I'm not dependent on lume to tell time in the dark so that doesn't matter much to me.
Overall I'd give this watch 4.5/5 stars, there's a reason it's recommended so often. I've been considering getting an Oris ProPilot or Ball Fireman Nightbreaker but sometimes worry they're too similar to the kfa.
