Haters Gonna Hate: Custom Iced Out G-Shock Mini
Picked this up from Japan for only $80 on eBay. Prior to purchasing, I zoomed in and noticed the diamond are prong set. The case said silver. I took a gamble and purchased.
After getting it home, I tested the case and strap hardware, and to my surprise, it is genuine 925 silver. Now I just need to test the stones to see if they’re CZs, diamond, or moisonite. Regardless, it is prong set, not glued, so they’re highly unlikely to fall out.
I cleaned the case and strap hardware, and transferred it onto my limited edition g-shock mini beams boy ( Asian female tomboy brand) collaboration, since the g-shock mini it was on light went out. It turned out great.
It’s highly probable whoever made this spent way more than $80 to have this created. This is a one-off custom piece. You can’t find g-shock mini iced out cases on the net.
I know iced out watches are an issue to most — particularly white men (shots fired) — but I like iced watches. Especially g-shocks.

I agree. I’ve looked at rappers iced out pieces, and for the longest, they didn’t realize they were getting scammed. Now they do. And more rappers are wearing factory set iced out pieces, or wearing, as they put it, “plain Jane’s.”

Next time, go with a baguette cut diamonds on a case hardened metal for that trippy diamonds on a colourful backdrop setting. ✌️

I didn’t have this custom made. Someone else made it. I purchased second hand. Since I like this a lot, I may contact some companies to see if I can do a custom iced out g-shock mini with baguettes and some colorful sapphires. Thx 🙏

I'd like to add, next time give a good story about how you sourced every diamond, supplied the silver from grandma's old cutlery and found this amazing youngster who did it for the 'challenge and passion'. Just like how every scratch on a watch us from a knock down, drag out fight in the bar to protect your significant other from ruffians. 😛
