The A. Lange & Söhne Odysseus titanium perpetuates the story of the German marque’s highly coveted sports watch, first released in 2019. Now, housed in a titanium case, the beautifully proportioned, highly practical and superbly finished watch is no horological lightweight. Mark McArthur-Christie, discusses this eminently elegant expression of watchmaking in his own distinctive style.

Very proportional and well designed. However, my brain is ingrained to see 3-letter day window or the whole word. 2-letter looks esthetic but needs getting used to. Also, can’t afford this one.

I think the bracelet is oversized... doesnt look good to me

it's a killer watch and great bracelet. it's all really nice except for the part where the bracelet attaches to the watch head.

seems to me Lange forced their signature style lugs onto a watch that is supposed to have a seamless bracelet. they say it looks better in person so I might be wrong but I based on all the images I ever saw of it it ruins the whole watch, for me at least.

doesn't really matter since I have no shot at getting one but still sad to see them come this close and then fumble at the 1 yard line.

This really appeals to me, but I have to agree with @Half_Life that the 2 letters for the day of the week might take some time getting used to (I'd be very willing to try). The bracelet adjustment appears to be similar to that of my IWC Pilots Chronograph 41, which I just love. I also love the idea of the watch being titanium. I picked up my first titanium watch earlier this year (Omega Speedmaster Skywalker X33), and love how it seems to disappear on the wrist because of the light weight.

Hi @MegaBob - I wasn't sure about the Odysseus when I first saw the images of it, however, I tried it on at Watches & Wonders earlier this year - it's gorgeous.
