Wife’s watch search
I need some proposals. My wife is looking for an automatic watch for every day. The watch won’t have an easy life. So, it has to be robust and reliable.
She doesn’t like the girlie stuff, so no bling bling, gold, colors etc. Very clean, classic with a steal bracelet and a dial in black, white or silver.
Her limit is 1.000€.
Any suggestions?

If she want a fairly rugged watch she could go with the Glycine Combat Sub 36mm.
I've got the 39mm as my daily beater, and it really looks stunning.
There are more colour variants on their website. And of course this is a more casual sporty look, but it is really rugged with sapphire crystal, 300m water resistance and swiss movement (the 39mm uses the Sellita SW200 which is just a real workhorse, but i dont know which movement is in the 36mm other than it being swiss).

I like the Hamilton Jazzmaster line. But I also like the Tissot La Loche. Tough choice.

Something between 32 and 38mm
Seiko Presage SRP837, 34mm case and is nice size. You can pick this up for under $400, personally got the light blue dial version for my girlfriend and its such a nice watch for everyday use.
If 38mm is not a problem, you can take a look Seiko Baby Alpinist (SPB155, 159) or the Laurel Alpinist (SPB243, 241). 46mm lug to lug but wears much smaller on the wrist and are quite rugged watches but versatile.
Tissot Chemin de Tourelles. Mido also makes few nice sized watches in Baroncelli lineup.

As my wife never stops to amaze me. She had a look at my Moonswatch and told that that’s a very nice looking watch. So, now she has a Moonswatch 😅
Luckily, she was just taking that and not my original Speedmaster Moonwatch 😬
