At what point are there too many complications on a watch?

At what number do you think that complications take away from the actual watch?

I think it depends on whether it's digital or mechanical. I have a solar g shock that does almost everything. But it's fine. I love it!

But mechanical watch with too many complications (maybe more than 2) is too complex, servicing costs are very high, and more chances for design errors to come out.

If the watch is a complication watch then I don’t see how the number of complications can “take-away” from the watch 🧐🤨😉 @CitizenKale ’s post is case in point.

I guess when you start looking at your phone for the time since you cannot figure out what time it is on your watch.
