Which vintage watch would you like to have reissued?

Mine would be the Hamilton Vega, in a bit bigger, with this cool new sweepy-seconds quartz movement from ... was it Bulova?

Hamilton, get going! Pretty please with sugar on top.

Hamilton would make it too large. Asymmetry can't be large.

I would suggest the Pan American:

(not mine)

We are getting really pretty Tuxedo dials from Longines and others. The Pan American combined beauty and military/pilot's watch functionality in a package that has not been equaled since.

I'd go with the Universal Geneve Polerouter

Bulova Astronaut GMT. Now that Miyota has that GMT movement, it would be a shame not to.

I wish that I could trust them not to muck it up. Would you trust this company?

A real humming Accutron Spaceview would be nice, but somehow they forgot how to make those.

I'd say it would be nice if Rolex reintroduced moonphase triple calendars a la the 6062, but I'd never get one anyhow.

So in the world of the real, maybe Omega could make those pretty C-Shape Constellations again. I know, I could probably get a vintage one for less than they'd charge.

Universal Geneve, I TRUST YOU NOT TO MUCK THIS UP! You can do it!! And probably even in 38mm! Go UG!  💪

I’ve always loved the Heuer Airline and Kentucky.

The Airline, with the code on the bracelet, is just really hilarious. I think they could re-release this with a nice GMT movement as steel sports are kind of back in fashion.

Image

I always thought the Kentucky was quite nice, even the chronograph has tempted me numerous times to break my no vintage complications rule I nearly always keep. The main issue was the integrated bracelet, once it breaks it cannot be repaired, and it is a known design flaw. I think, as integrated steel sports watches are seemingly popular again with the PRX, Tag could look to bring some of these randoms back.

Lone wolf and Cub! Love that series. I recently got the remastered blue ray edition of the movies.

I would love a re-issue of the Gruen Precision 24 hour with the jump numeral complication. A really nice take on the 24-hour watch with a neat little trick up its sleeve.

Did they not do a proper hummer for the 50th anniversary ?

·

Would need updated a little bit for modern proportions and aesthetics, but I think the Zerographe deserves a resurrection

They did, in 42mm, 1000 pieces, 4k$ each :P

So I guess they still have the machines to build hummers.

It's that 42mm part that annoys me the most, as the originals were barely 36mm. Moot issue as they are too rare and pricey for me anyway.
