Seiko 6309... not sure but don't mind

Recently bought this from a UK ebayer. 

Looks to good for an 80's watch.

I love it though and bought it even with some doubts.. at what I think was a good price.

I think it's had some work or lived its life in a draw 🤔 

Watched a couple of YouTube videos before bidding and went for it

Very happy with it and ignorance is bliss.

Hello, I feel bad in saying this but the dial, hands & bezel insert are all aftermarket. The serial number would date this to July 1984, it's probably seen some action & the hands & dial may have been moisture damaged or corroded which may have prompted their replacement. If you got it at a good price & enjoy wearing it though that's what matters!

Yeah I know these things

One youtube video by aron dulap covered the topic in detail with a very similar watch.

I went ahead anyway because of the price... less than a fashion watch and has a franken watch history. 

I don't have one in my collection but now I do.
