Tudor 1926 or similar Longines under $2,000

I am looking for my first entry level luxury watch and probably my only one. If you had $2,000 to spend would you spend it on a Tudor 1926 in opaline or black or any Longines?  Longines watches have a better movement but most of their watches apart from the Spirit and Hydroconquest line only have 30m of water resist. I prefer the security of a better water resistance but not a deal breaker.  I like the slimness and bracelet of the Tudor 39mm and the feeling of slimmer Longines watches I've tried but some of the dress watches from Longines have quite bland dials to my eyes. Thanks

I would lean towards Tudor, but that is personal preference. Both are great watches. You can get a Tudor 1926 all day long under $2000 on Jomashop, eBay, etc.

I found the 1926 a little underwhelming in person, so between these two I'd choose the Longines. Nomos has some excellent options in this price range as well!

Both are great watches! if I had to choose only one, then the Tudor 1926 speaks to me more. 🍻

Sadly the 1926, although a good watch, is totally boring

I actually found myself choosing between similar watches recently. I love the opaline and blue Tudor 1926 41mm. #tudor

I had a hard time finding this version available online so I went with the Longines Master Collection Moon Phase 41mm from Jomashop. #longines #jomashop

Thanks. That Moon Phase looks great. The Master Collection is very nice.
