Please can you the good people of the Watch Crunch give me some help in making a gift purchase decision.
My Dad will be 83 next June and I would like to buy him an GADA watch , ordinarily I would just go with the black dial but he has a few black dial watch's already like his Seamaster and a classic Tissot skin diver with yellow markers and numerals ( not sure of the model but he has had it forever).
Anyway I love my Islander ISL100 and figure as he loves the Rolex explorer he might enjoy an Islander Manhasset as an every day go anywhere and not worry about it kind of deal. But would the cream dial be a little more in keeping as a watch for an older guy. He'll love either one but I want him to get the most use out of it. He has got a white dial Rolex OP that he hardly ever wears but I now he likes it alot, it was a present from a company he worked for many years ago.
So what do you guys think?
