6 month review on the divers 65

Let me just start by saying that the divers 65 has exceeded all expectations. Although not a new watching thought I would publish a review anyway. This watch has been on a few adventures with me now and has held up great. Its incredibly hard to scratch even on its enormous domed sapphire crystal.

The dial is a magnificent gloss navy blue which only stands out in certain light.

The hour markers are probably one of my favorite parts about this watch, the protrude out a fair bit and it gives the dial a nice amount of depth. Lume is solid (superluminova ) and has a nice ”old radium“ tint to it.

no qualms with the bezel either, a fairly tight fit 120 click with a 60 minute aluminum insert.

The case is solid especially considering it’s a 42mm in this case. (Pun intended) it wears much smaller than you would think and is fairly thin considering that almost two millimeters is just the domed sapphire.

The bracelet is extremely tappored, coming from 21mm all the way down to 15 at the milled clasp.

the sw 200-1 movement does it’s job at a 4Hz beat rate and a power reserve of 38 hours.

Overall this is probably one of my favorite watches, especially considering the price ( a modest 2,200 usd).

Thanks, appreciate the review. I’ve had a BB58 at the top of my List for quite a while now, but this watch always gives me pause. I always wonder if I shouldn’t get one of these and something else for the price of the BB. Still up in the air about it.

I would say the bb58 is the only worthy competitor to the divers, especially a caliber 400. Can’t recommend it enough

Oris makes a nice watch, no question about it.

Nice write up. I enjoyed the green version I had for a few months but I ultimately moved it along....too much overlap with my CW C65 and the C65 wore a bit better on my wrist and was a touch more refined.

I sold my divers 65 but have kept my hydroconquest, captain cook and aquis. Overall I found the divers 65 a bit boring compared to the others and it was not getting any wrist time. It’s good that we don’t all enjoy the same watches though and it’s great that you enjoy yours.

Glad you’re enjoying it and thanks for the review. Have often thought of adding an 65 to the collection. Absolutely love my Oris and don’t see me parting with it anytime soon.
