Considering the 6R35 movement which hasn't performed well accuracy tests in a lot of youtube videos, +20-25 secs, do you think its worth it to spend $1200 USD on these watches only for the dials and cases which are great no doubt?
The dilemma being whether there are comparative great looking dials with a much more reliable movement for that price or cheaper? e.g. the Tissot seastar 1000 powermatic 80 movement is great but the dial and design kinda sucks a bit.
I live in India so microbrands are inaccessible here anyway, but might have a chance to ask someone to get a watch for me from the U.S.

I'd recommend a Mido over anything Seiko makes... The Swatch Group is pretty careful about their brand's reputations, so they don't tend to allow the sloppy QC Seiko does.
Highly recommend the Willard - mine is far more accurate than the stated tolerance, & all the £1000+ Seiko's I own don't have any alignment issues ( think that's only a thing with their entry level models tbh). ..the finish is as good as some of my posher Swiss pieces & the DLC coating is probably my favourite feature - I wear mine as a beater and it's got no scratches or marks on it, unlike my Seamaster which is pampered but still somehow gets scratched up!
Go for it, you won't regret it 😉
