The story of my watch collecting. Part 4.

Hello everyone!

I continue my story, boring for 99.9% of people in the world. In the last part, I stopped at the fact that I bought the best watch in the world - Omega Speedmaster Date.

Do you know what happens to those for whom grail watch is a Moonwatch and who, instead of buying a Moonwatch, buys an alternative? I'll tell you - we are disappointed.

The desire to own the most legendary watches in the world has not decreased, on the contrary! I was sleeping and saw myself in this watch, overboard of Apollo 13.

I lived with Speedmaster Date for almost a year, desperately trying to get rid of thoughts about Moonwatch. I curse the day when I started being interested in watches!

The last straw was that Omega released a new Moonwatch that did not receive NASA certification! It was no longer possible to fly to the moon with them, but I was already mentally on it and setting up a flag, next door to the United States.

Availability of the Moonwatch 1861 version with hezalite glass was gradually disappearing from boutiques and the decision had to be made here and now! I didn't have time to sell my old Speedmaster, so I had to break the piggy bank in which I was saving for a comfortable future. But it's all nonsense. There is nothing more important in life than Moonwatch))

So I became the proud owner of the coolest watches in the world, which will never be released again. I didn't give a damn that they were 42mm, and I hate big watches. I am ready to forgive absolutely everything to these watches!

The stupidity was that I appreciate and love this watch so much that I practically don't wear it. It gives me pleasure just to look at them and sort through the contents of the huge box with which they are sold. That's such a crazy thing)

So I got to my grail watch and the most amazing thing is, I didn't want to have any other watches anymore. From a watch for $ 150, I came to a watch for almost $ 5 thousand. Madness.

At that time, I still had the Speedmaster Date, but its presence lost all meaning. I decided to exchange it for a watch, which is a cure for watch sickness. Buying them - you get rid of this crazy hobby forever! But I will tell you about this in the next part 😂

Once again, thanks to everyone who read to the end!

Peace and kindness to all!

I prefer a compact watch with a date for every day)

So could this be your one watch collection do you think??

You absolutely have to wear it ALL THE TIME!!!

No, never! My one watch collection have to be: 36-38mm, lightweight, arabic numerals, date and 100 meters water resistant)

You sum up the madness very well! I've so been here:

'So I became the proud owner of the coolest watches in the world... I hate big watches...' 😂
