This great Elgin Sportsman was waiting for me when I got home from work today. Got it for a great price on ebay.

Soooo clean! I’m also patiently waiting. A recently purchased Raketa Copernicus all original (tons of research and scouring the internet) is on it way from Ukraine. The thing for me about these watches is trying to learn the history and making sure the pieces are correct. Nothing like searching for a good Time piece to pass the time.

I am beginning to understand. I do have one Bulova Clipper that I thought was a great deal, but have since come to learn does not have the original handset. 😪
I learned from that, and am fairly certain this Elgin is all original, although I won't know for certain until it is serviced. My other Bulova Clipper looks to be all original as well, so I think I am improving...? 😆
