Would you buy in one of these stores?

They have great prices, are they all original? Does anyone know if they deliver to Europe, if they've had any problems, etc… I saw their reviews on trustpilot and their rating is 3.9/5 out of almost 300 reviews! Many thanks 👊🏻👍🏻

Jomashop Have bought there many times but customer service can be slow. Their items are all authentic.

I haven’t used WatchMaxx, so can’t vouch for them.

·

I’ve used WatchMaxx twice. Once the outer box was badly damaged by the shipper, but it was packaged well enough that the Watch box was just fine. The second purchase was without a hitch.

·

I’m sure they do deliver to Europe, but one thing you have to keep in mind with Jomashop and Watchmaxx is that depending on the exact watch that you purchase shipping times can vary greatly. Some of the items that they have for sale they actually don’t have in stock ready to ship, and they actually have to go out and source the watch and then ship it to you which can sometimes take an additional 2 to 3 weeks. It all depends on the watch that you purchase. Sometimes they say things like “ready to ship now” if the watch is available right away. I have heard stories of people saying that they have purchased watches, waited and waited for them to ship, just to get an email saying that the watch is no longer available and to please make a different selection or get a refund. In this case, I’m thinking they are not able to source the watch in a timely manner and have to tell the customer to pick out a different one. I’ve bought one watch off Jomashop, and it shipped out right away, and it was a great experience.

Can I ask you if your purchases there were something over or under $1.000? I mean, I saw a good opportunity there but it’s considerably expansive (at least for me) 😅

Good to know that 💯👍🏻

I have purchased from, Cool vintage watch, bulang and sons, omega enthusiast, and watchpool24. All of these have been very trustworthy

·

Yes, used both Jomashop and Watchmaxx. Keep in mind that using a grey market site may mean that the watch does not come with the manufacturer's warranty, and that you don't have the convenience of going to an AD if something is amiss. In my experience the watches are new and authentic, and come in the original manufacturer's packaging.

Jomashop are great. Sharpest prices on the market. I picked up a tissot from them a couple years back, shipped from US to UK in a couple weeks and safely arrived. You don't get official warranty with them, rather it's covered by Jomashop themselves.

·

I wouldn't recommend them for high value items. Their customer service isn't known to be very friendly and their warranty policies are utter crap. They'll make you jump through hoops to honor their warranty.

They provide their own warranty, items bought through them will not come with manufacturer warranty, if that is important to you. If you decide to return an item you'll be charged s restocking fee. So use them at your own risk.

We have to think on both hands, no?! Thanks 🙏🏻 😊

Jomashop is good. Great prices and good service for an online watch shop. Like everyone else said, you get warranty covered by them so be cautious with that.

If you purchasing anything above $1000, try finding an authorized dealer and purchase it with a warranty. Also, better to try the watch on in person always.

·

I was surprised by the wait time for a divers 65 from watchmax. It took so long that I ended up setting my sights on a different watch.

Only buy from these guys if:

1: The watch shows as in stock and ready to ship.

  • If it shows as anything else it will be a while before you get the watch, if at all.

2: The price is still good if you factor in a service with your local watchmaker.

  • Their warranties are useless and a lot of the watches have been sitting on a shelf for years.

If it meets those two criteria go for it. I've bought several from Joma and by following this I've been very happy.

You made a kind of list to check out before you buy, nice! 👏🏻💯

I hope max can read this (I RATHER BUY FROM WATCH CRUNCH BROTHER OR SISTER)

Watchmaxx had an awesome price on a watch that works fine (about $500), but the box came damaged and there are no papers/warranty from the manufacturer. I've purchased from Jomashop and gotten better service and papers/warranty on the watches I purchased there.

I also use Jura Watches in the UK. I like their customer service and their sales.

·

Bought several watches and other things like sun glasses from Jomashop.

From Hamilton to Omega and would 100% recommend

·

I’ve purchased multiple watches from both. No issues with either. I still think they are the best place for a grey market deal.

Both were retail over $3000 and actual price paid about $2200

Love Jomashop for my J1 Seikos fix.Great prices, all original. But keep in mind they are great market so for example the Tissots I have bought come in a generic Tissot box not the fancy OG one with all the perks and booklets etc.

Jomashop is legit. I've bought a handful of watches from, and it's all gone fine. I wouldn't count on them for customer service, though, or much after purchase support. I'm not sure I put too much stock in their in-house warranty either. Basically I see them as a discount warehouse, except online, and for watches. I've bought watches from them priced in the hundreds of dollars, but I wouldn't buy one for thousands. For a high ticket purchase, I would want it to be backed by a reputable dealer, and a real warranty. Also, I never buy unless they say in stock. I've seen watches listed as "available in 2-3 weeks" for months on end. When in stock, I get them next day. But then they're in Brooklyn, and I'm in Manhattan.

·

Jomashop: Watch was legit. However, they never responded to my emails/webforms to them, and they sent me spam-emails for a year (I never signed up and there was no unsubscribe option). As of 2019 at least, they were scumbags.

With Gray market dealers, I would go through another site (e.g. eBay ) where they are active, to keep them accountable and to avoid spam.

·

I've made a purchase from Jomashop. I won't lie that it did take a while, but I was happy with what I recieved.

Side note, I live in Asia, so ig that could be the cause for the long shipping time.

·

I'm from Chile and have used Jomashop once, it took around 3-4 weeks for the watch to be shipped and it arrived almost 3 weeks after that, only to see that it was stolen along the way. I had to claim the insurance for the shipping and they sent a new one free of charge, also taking around 7-8 weeks in total to arrive.

I had bad luck with the watch being stolen and all, their customer service was a little slow, but they did come through and I got the watch I had bought after all. Although seasons came and went before I actually received it 😂

If buying from Europe, must you pay import duty on watches purchased from Jomashop?

I disagree with your first requirement. I bought a watch from JS which I wasn't in a hurry to get. They advertised it as "not in stock" and I bought it anyway because of the great price. It took 2 months, but I got it as I'd planned.

·

I know Jomashop is gray market - and assume Watchmaxx is the same. With such gray market sellers, they provide their own warranty (i.e., the watch is not warranted by the manufacturer). For warranty work, you need to send it to Jomashop, and if they can't fix it easily or replace it, I've heard that they will give you a store credit and not send your watch back... which pissed people off since they'd rather fix it themselves than get store credit when the watch they really want is no longer available.

If I bought from them, I'd make the assumption that it doesn't have a warranty since I'd be unlikely to use Jomashop's warranty service.

Fair enough. Just be aware that they're going to source it.
