Who wore it better?
Fell in love with this watch after being force-fed WRUW pictures of it for 6 weeks straight. Fortunately for me @TonyXXX decided the memories of the 1WC connected to this lovely Direnzo were just too painful to keep it in his collection and so he kindly agreed to sell it to me and ship it to the other side of the world. 🙏
I have to say, I'm glad the challenge didn't continue till the last one standing because I'm not sure I could have won against this. It's a really gorgeous timepiece. Thank you Tony!

Yeah, I agree the lug-to-lug is reaching the limit of what I can wear at 47mm.
But it's not uncomfortable and the fact they curve down just saves me.

Yeah, it's a pretty forgiving watch on my tiny wrist and yet looks awesome on Tony too. I'll have to get it on the bracelet later and see how it looks 👍

What can I say, it definitely looked better on my arm (Oh sorry I'm supposed to say your arm aren't I 😜)
The watch couldn't have gone to anyone more deserving and despite what others have said I think it fits well. The bracelet does look good and seems to make the watch sit flatter on wrist, whereas the Vario strap, which is super comfortable, with the gaps between the end of the strap and the watch case may give the watch a slightly larger appearance on you wrist size.
If you want a rubber strap that will get around this, a curved end, fitted strap may be the way to go, I found this one at Strapify $59 USD but I'm sure there would be others closer to the UK that sell similar.

Here it is fitted to my Sinn, not having a gap makes all the difference in it's appearance.
Anyway regardless of what others may think, I think it looks fine and if your happy with the way it looks, that's all that matters.

I think the bracelet really helps with the fit. I’m of the opinion that most people can can wear bigger watches than they think, it’s just finding the right strap. I mean if rules were actually real, I’d be banned from wearing a Steinhart on my 6.3” / 16cm wrist! 😆 Filling in the gaps really sells it. Great watch, great piece of WC history. 😊👍
