Thank you for letting me guest judge!

For my theme, I will go with "Definitely not junk!".

Any collections, collectibles, splurges, and things that are "definitely not junk!".

Nice shoes, fancy knives, cool posters, cars, merch and memorabilia! Let's see some cool stuff!

I'm out of town, but I'll take some example photos when I get home!

·

I kept pondering and never got round to taking shots… couldn’t think of anything interesting.
Wish I had thought of the cheese grater though, that’s pretty good as a backing, and those strawberries work well in particular.

Will try to remember to actually do it this week… is there a limit on number of photos? (I mean, like, a few — not a whole roll of film/box of watches)

Great theme!

I have loads of borderline junk around the house for this one 😁

Ms. Piaf LP I bought for £2 at a local antiques/junk shop. One of my favourite possessions.

I've recently really gotten into collecting tinned meats.  I'm starting out with smoked herring, but looking to expand potentially into sardines and trout.

This is the most absolutely not junk thing I can find. Taken at 05.30 this morning before going to a WatchCrunch meetup for the first time.💕

And if you asked my other half (@Watchwitch ) there is evidence of my spectacular jacket collection in this picture.

I admit it I collect jackets and boots and watch's and oh well lots of stuff.

"Hi my name is Sean and I'm an addict"

Knives In. The only other collection of things I have I think aren’t junk.

I love angular display shots like this 👌 I should have gone black and white too...

I remember that Timex from your other post. It's amazing 🤩

Your spot on. My parents turned me on to Kachinas when I was a kid in Phoenix and my grandmother's watch I always remembered her wearing it. Great combo.

Cheers!

For what I have handy on my phone:

The first photo has an espresso tamper I made using a spare chris king hub I had.

Image

And this photo it's on top of my espresso machine that's a bit over kill for a house. I had it in my restaurant before i got out of the business.

Some fine art…. A fine BMW, the keys and shades needed for a fine day with a Corvette Stingray, different views of my PRS guitar.  But most personally my grandfathers pinky ring, handed down to me.  He wore it daily and told me he would give it to me when he passed.  He gave it to me about six months early so he could see me wear it.  Miss him everyday.

I continue to fight to keep this clearly not junk vintage neon light, which advertises the beer that fueled my youth and many very questionable life decisions.

I bet that’s what the straps smell like…

I’ll see myself out.

I love old neon signs, and would snap one up if I could find one locally with nice colors and subject matter that speaks to me.

Not really happy with my initial idea of setting the Orient with a subset of stationery paraphernalia. On the one hand, material wise, what could be better than Rotrings? Originally German, now often made in Japan, toolish, collectible, my own collection is definitely that — different models, some vintage, some modern. Slightly different uses… but I think my initial shots are a little dull, and I perhaps shouldn’t have gone for the stark background of a light box. Nor should I have rushed the job, too much wonkyness. But… maybe I will take something different, some thing better:

I'm really enjoying these photos! I've had kind of a hectic week, so looks like I might be the last one to take pictures for my own prompt 😂

Squeezing in on the last day!

I have a couple totally necessary things lying around.

First, how many pairs of New Balance 1500s do I need? 5 apparently

Image

I also have a totally useful sword, made from Hokkaido Oak wood!

Image

It comes in handy if I want to pretend I'm Gintoki.

Finally, I couldn't decide which Gundam model from Celestial Being I wanted, so naturally I had to get all 4
