Well done everyone! Just utterly gorgeous photographs!
The chosen winner will be in Tuesdays newsletter as usual.
This weeks theme setter is @DeepCmonkey, so check out the comments for his choice for this week...

Thanks @Deeperblue for the opertunity to be this week's guest judge. Some great photos in last one👌
I racked my brain to come up with a theme for this week's contest and I have to say I am more nervous about setting the challenge than I would be entering a photo in the weekly contest !!
The theme for this week's challenge is "flora and fauna"
let's see your watch with some plant or wildlife or a combination of both, the title is open to interpretation and creativity is welcome.
I will get the ball rolling with a few photos. I am by no means a pro, the camera I use is my phone which is a Samsung S21 Ultra and I use Photoshop Express (free on the play store) to edit my photos.
Looking forward to seeing all the amazing entries , have a great week Crunchers 👍

Gosh a high standard has been set!
Is the lizard a pet or wildlife???
Do killer rabbits and vivisected bears count as fauna?
Vegetation randomly in the blurred background count for flora?
Fauna?? 😁
Flora from the garden last year...

Absolutely on both counts 👍😊
Gosh a high standard has been set!

Genuine wildlife, the Gecko 🦎was a very willing model 😊
Great photos from the last challenge, as always.
I live in a place where spring has not yet sprung, so there is no outdoor flora to be found, but our home is filled with indoor plants. Hopefully these will be considered as fitting the theme.
First, my Omega X-33 Skywalker with "Basil", a Venetian beaded glass parrot (which had been a lamp at one point) representing the fauna (I know it's a stretch), and a small potted pepperomia plant as the flora.
Second, my Cellini Prince with a pothos as the flora.
And lastly my Burnt Orage Zelos Spearfish hanging on a cactus in my bedroom.
Hope it is okay that the Flora is not in/the focus 😄
Thanks for the runners up place!
goes to examine houseplants, and wonders if robot parrots count for fauna. They do in this house…
Looking through the photos I have handy.
May I ask what the watch is?
Looks very cool!
@Deeperblue It‘s from a company called Aark Collective from Australia. The watch is called timeless chrome. It was the last quartz watch i bought around 10 years ago.
uuuum...Fauna I guess 😂
The flora is no problem, but getting the fauna to stay still long enough, nightmare.
Luckily enough, up popped this little critter to say hello.
And again, before scampering off into the forest to do what small Japanese electric rodents do...
Panda dial and bamboo 🐼
Or black and white watch with a black and white dog? 🤣
Flora in my room 😊
#baltic with the friendly PNW fauna 🐦
Bride to be!
Ok, I'm not 100% sure that I'm matching this week's theme, however flora made me think flowers first (maybe because of the spring effect). And when I was thinking about the creativity, best flowers I've ever seen came to my mind. Most probably not because of the bride bouquet itself but the one that hold it during our wedding. What a moment it was...
Yesterday, it was our 115th month being together (No we're not celebrating every month, only some of them 🙂 ). Btw, I mean really being together. We had to be away from each other maybe just 10 days in total during those awesome nearly 10 years.
I wanted to join the challenge with something from my wife. So the combination of the Casio GMA-S2100-4AER which i've gifted last valentine's day and her over 9 years old bride bouquet went pretty well.
And this brings me the question that "Can a G-Shock be a bride's watch?". Why not? 🙂
Especially this specific model can be an option for the ones that think about it instead of the harsh white version 🙂
A note for the one's curious: I also wanted to take the shots with a vintage lens for adding a little bit more feel to them. I've used the Helios 44M-6 (+ Mitakon Lens Turbo II) and a Lumix GX9 for the shots.
Final note: We can count the preparation period to the wedding as a "wild life" story 😄 Since we had to have 3 weedings in 3 different cities for both of the families and friends 😛
