Shared the story behind this watch here.
I'm utterly in love with it and it fits like a dream on the wrist, so much better than the Fears that I rebounded from. The Brunswick isn't a bad watch by any means, it just wasn't made for my tiny wrists sadly.
But this Polerouter is just perfection. ❤️
I'll take some more pictures tomorrow when I have time.

Honeymoon time!
Love it!! Isn’t it nice to get excited about a watch again especially when the watch hits the right requirements ✅ and you fall in love with it!! I know..I know im
getting to melodramatic… I’m just Really Happy for you cuz‘ I know how it feels ☺️
Stunning watch! Enjoy. Like a glove on your wrist. Who could have guessed that it was that one you went for.
Beautiful!
That is absolutely gorgeous!! CONGRATULATIONS !!
My respect 🫡!
It looks to be in stunning condition too!
Looks great on you. Very classy
Aaahh watch with a twist of lug 🤤
Wow. That is an absolutely beautiful watch. What are you going to do with the Fears?
That is completely stunning! 😍 A classic in the truest sense. Congratulations! 🤝
Pretty - so so pretty!
Now say Thank You to that Fears…!
That be sumthin’!
Stunning watch, so elegant. No tears for Fears. Did @Aurelian realize that it didn't have the things he loves like rust, pitting, scratches and wear before he suggested it?
Thank you! Its down-turned lugs and wafer thin profile make it fit like a dream ❤️
We can be wrist twins now! 🥳
We certainly can be👍
It looks beautiful on you. Love the gold color. Is it rose gold? The sector detail on the face and the dauphine shape I see on the second hand are really drawing me in. The dark face allows this older watch to have nice patina without looking too old to my eye. Thanks for sharing, hope to learn more about this one with the link you shared and looking forward to more pix!
It is rose gold with a beautiful hue which can look more yellow in some lights.
A few more pics which show the dial patina a bit better...
I never bought the Fears in the end. I tried it on after longing for it for months and months, but was very disappointed with how it looked on me, so never pulled the trigger.
Interesting. I’ve been coveting a Fears for a few years. But having never been able to try one on I’ve been a tad gun Shy. I’m looking for a dress watch and keep wavering between a Fears, a Grand Seiko, while still holding out to see if something else catches my eye.

Thanks, really love this. You’ve got me thinking vintage, something I haven‘t done in a while!

I don’t like you very much right now, I’ve turned a slight shade of green. Enjoy, but at the same time, don’t 😝
i must say it suits your wrist very well. well done 🙏🏻

Right there with you.
A little while back @AllTheWatches did an elimination tournament for microbrands.
If we did a similar tournament with voting for the most beautiful watch in the last 120 years would this or a similar Polerouter win? I can think of many beautiful Omegas, Eternas, Bulovas, and Holy Trinity. However, this might be the one.
Consider a recent post by @roberto here. The Gruen is a favorite of mine and one that is on my list. The watches have a similar purpose and history. The Gruen plays like an ur-pilot watch. Nice, but not a design milestone. The Polerouter on the other hand is a mid-century masterpiece of design. They are similar, but nowhere near the same.
Wear it well.
It being on my wrist is thanks to you .
ah, it's definitely an understatement to say i am beyond jealous, congrats on the pickup! As much as I would love a solid gold polerouter, I'm still on the hunt for a decent priced gold plated one, ideally the bruce lee reference. If not, I'd love one like yours tuxedo dial, no date.
As others have mentioned before, condition is king and you absolutely nailed it on that one! Hopefully your wallet doesn't hurt too bad
It's sad when I read about how much they cost just a few years ago. You could get them for an absolute steal! It cost me less than the Fears though, and I love it much more, so well worth what I paid 👌
That's so nice I think I'm going to revaluate my 'ugly' collection of divers and get into that genre 👅👅👅👅
I still love my divers too! I feel I can wear those with reckless abandon, whereas I'm much more mindful of what I'm doing when I'm wearing this one.
But that particular one is in my watchbox😎
No way!
I saw it in the 'sold' section and thought what an absolute stunner it was! I salute your obviously flawless taste 👌

I still think the Fears is a lovely watch. Lovely dial and great story behind the brand. Sadly it just wasn't meant to be for me but it may very well fit you perfectly 👍

Since @HotWatchChick69 isn't here I will channel her energy...

Thanks! Unlike your UG the Constellation sat unsold for weeks before I finally decided to pulled the trigger. I guess damage is pulling a lot of people off even if it’s beautifully tropicalized as this.

yes all about patience and finding that steal of a deal
