Ok people, it's time for the UK WC contingent to brave another London Meetup.
I haven't thought about details yet but the date would be one day between Friday 31st March - Tuesday 4th April. Realistically I imagine the Friday 31st or Saturday 1st will suit most people but I do realise it's the start of the school holidays.
The itinerary will likely be something super adventuress like: Pub -> Food -> Pub, like it was last time, but NOT covent garden because that place was nuts! Chinatown maybe? (Yeah, that will be no less nuts.... I'm open to suggestions 😆)
Tagging my watch brethren who came last time, but all are welcome!

The 31st would be perfect for me!
Aye... go on then. 31st suits me best

Brilliant! 👏
There’s plenty of places further out that aren’t west end nuts, but still near Transport hubs. Angel for instance (walking distance of Kings Cross) is still busy and full of pubs and restaurants, but not as hefty as full West. Problem is watch related interest stuff is kind of low round there (used to have a decent watchmaker/repair shop, but I think that is long gone) and I don’t want to just suggest my stomping grounds — sounds like I am trying to save on bus fare.

Be great if you could make it. I live in hope 🙏

I'll be there. I missed the last one and I'm not missing any more

To be honest, we kinda made our own entertainment last time without the watch shops didn't we? 😁
I think most of us would be getting on the tube anyway, so which tube stop it's near wouldn't matter a great deal 👍
Sounds great, and I'm actually off work that weekend, only problem is we're down the next weekend for daughters birthday treat, I'll see if I can do it(don't know wether London can handle it two weekends in a row,or the bank balance) so a provisional yes from me.

Would be awesome if you could make it! 🎉
Friday 31st good for me!
I was in Picadilly to see Moulin Rouge last Monday. Before hand we had a drink in the Lyric Pub around the corner from the Picadilly theatre. It was a quite old fashioned London Pub with an interesting clientèle and much less frantic than the last one? It had a really good atmosphere and is still central and on the tube. Worth a go?

Will be awesome to see you again!
Sounds good with the Lyric 👍. I guess everywhere is going to be mad on a Friday night 😏

Likewise! That's true although this one is not on the main drag so may be a bit quieter. I will go anywhere!
Sounds good. I’ll try to make it if I can.

Brilliant! Would be great to meet you 🍻
Waxy O’Connor’s is quite a big pub near the centre of town (mulitple levels)…. Might have more space if there’s more people
The first time I ever had Indian food was in London, when I was 18, and had taken a year off between high school and college to hitchhike across Europe... dumbest thing I could ever have done.
But, the Indian food there in the UK is out of this world good!!!
You should go have Indian!!!
Sounds amazing! I’m in the states, and won’t be able to attend! Enjoy!

But there will be a possible guest visiting from the US 😀

I love to meet folks from our American chapter! 🍻
I would have loved to go, but I will be on holiday at that time!! ✈
It’ll have to be time..
Does that mean you may be there? 😁
In the words of the Jackson 5….I’ll Be There
As long as you folks don't do a Gary King, please. 😛

Excellent!!! 🍻🎉🥳
I'll come along. Can help find a venue if you send me a DM and we can discuss what you are looking for in more detail!
Very tempted. It was great fun last time. I will see if the stars are aligned for this event also.
