This might actually have sort of happened at my household (at 50% of cost when getting caught)
The FedEx ringing the door bell one is good. If they ring the bell, the dog goes crazy barking and the Ring chime alerts all the cell phones. There's no way to gracefully and quietly disappear with a package after that.
I pulled off the first one on Thursday. The wife never realized FedEx was here. 😎

This is why I buy Grand Seikos. When my wife finds one, I say it’s just a cheap Seiko and show her the $100 Seikos on Amazon.
