Sinister GMT II.
My AD had a new sinister GMT II in his case as a “display only”. It was a fully functional watch, not a dummy. It was weird slipping it on for the first time. It just looks upside down.
Long story short, I love it. The Jubilee bracelet is amazing. The 9:00 date placement actually makes the Cyclops usable for me. The date is in a much more natural position to view without the Cyclops actually becoming a hindrance. In a more amenable watch market, I would 100% wear the shiny off this watch.

Funny timing, my AD offered it to me last week and while it is an awesome watch (much better in person), like the new Cermit, the green doesn’t sing to me. I hate turning down “the calls” but in my heart I know I won’t reach for it enough in the box. That and it severely eats into my anniversary watch and new car budget. :-)
I had a good conversation about it though and he mentioned surprisingly, not many people asking for it, at least not in this area. Seems Pepsi, Batman, and even the Root Beer are more in demand in the GMT line.

damn, maybe I need to fly over to the northeast to check out these ADs. I inquired about it the week after W&W since I'm actually a lefty (wear watches on right wrist) and my new company's colors are green and black.
I loves me some GMT MII and having both one with the Oyster and one with a Jubilee bracelet, I prefer the Jubilee too. But… I’m going to say it… this is an abomination. The green on the Hulk just works. The new Cermit/Starbucks works. But the green and black bezel on this… just doesn‘t do it for me. That and it being a destro.

Likely not going to be that easy. Took me many many years and watches to build the relationship. They also know I wont buy it to make a quick $20K, which is a harder trust to build.
It’s in my wish list. But, probably not able to get it anytime soon..
