We just received the Möels 528 Pixie, ie. pink dial. It’s really for my wife but I would have no issue keeping this for myself. I’d gladly wear it all the time. It’s a fantastic design.
The watch actually arrived vacuum packed in a small box covered in a sleeve.
The box itself is nice and simple.
Inside the box, the watch is held within a super nice travel pouch. It looks and feels like leather with an ostrich pattern.
The watch is held on a leather sleeve that slips into the pouch.
On the wrist, it looks like a large watch but it doesn’t feel anywhere near as large as it looks. I find it very comfortable on my 6-3/4” wrist. In this photo, I had forgotten to screw in the crown but I like this photo better than my later pic with the crown screwed down.
This type of bracelet looks amazing but it takes a few minutes to discover the trick to tighten it on your wrist. It has notches to prevent the bracelet from slipping so it’s secure but not infinitely adjustable. Still, the slight difficulty in tightening the bracelet is a small price to pay for such beauty.
Is this worth the price? It isn’t a cheap watch but ABSOLUTELY it is worth the money they are asking. It is simply stunning. It’s unique in the market. It’s well built, well finished and contains a workhorse movement visible through the open case back.
I will likely buy another example for myself in another colour when my funds recover. It’s just a terrific watch. Finally, thanks to Caseback Tim for putting me on to this model and Watch Crunch for allowing me to follow it’s development and new variations.
