It's very modern looking. It is less homely than the Santos, but it's pretty cold, sterile, and charmless.

·

It's a great looking watch.

Watchfinder just released a new video on the new Francaise https://youtu.be/AOJ4gR2-LvM

I've been seeing that people are disappointed with the new release, alot of it contributing to the new end links and other style changes

If you like it go and try one on. If you fall in love with it go for it.

It's not my style but I do think Cartier is a great watchmaker.

Cheers!

The movement on the large is a disappointment.

How so?

I am all for SW and ETA based movements.  Not a snob.  But at $5500, it’s hard to justify when there are several Cartier options around $1000 less, with the 1847MC.  I just think thats the far better deal. But to each their own.

Absolutely agree. I didn't learn the new tank francaise didn't have an in-house movement until after.  I find it much easier to even justify the $2930 for a large quartz must vice the $5500 for not in-house movement
