My 2nd Timex in Years. Something Even The Hulk Would Wear!

One particularly mind-numbing afternoon, I drifted off to imagine what watch Bruce Banner may have worn after his life-altering exposure to gamma radiation. Surely he could no longer wear his Seiko Bullhead. He needed something that could withstand great amounts of shock for when…you know…he changed into that guy.

At first, he considered a G-Shock Square, but he didn’t like the sharp angles of the case and he was afraid the band might snap when his heart rate got over 200. So he instead went for the Timex Ironman Shock with a Velcro strap!

The Ironman Shock is a surprisingly robust watch with great looks and as many functions as a G-Shock, but with the addition of a 30-lap memory.

The Shock is about the same size as my Casio DW 5600…and feels of quality. Its velcro strap is complemented with brushed metal hardware, and the stainless steel caseback secures the module to 200 meters water resistance; all in a very light and wearable 51 gram package!

Indiglo is a hallmark of Timex, and does not disappoint with the Ironman Shock. I am really excited about this new watch…and am really glad that Hulk lent it to me for an indefinite amount of time!

My Timex Easy Reader, that I bought two months ago, was my first Timex in about 25 years…and I absolutely geek over it. So naturally I had to get a second Timex. I hope @TimexBadger and all of the other Timex lovers are proud of me. Did the Hulk and I do well?

How would you feel about going with a Ironman Shock instead of a G-Shock for your Special Ops excursions?

I love the Ironman!  I just wish they would release a solar Ironman

Well done Sir!  For the record, a lot o famous folks who collecting Luxury watches also wear the Iron Man.  Congrats on your second Timex.  I have a few more at 80 plus.  lol

Easy Reader is one of the watches I wear to bed because how easy it is to read when I wake up with the indiglo.

Here are some famous folks wearing Timex.

Yeah…that would basically make it a ‘perfect’ watch.

I'm loving this and am about to research your post watch, it looks impressive!

I have several casios but no G shocks. I have one timex which has the size for the Hulk but is probably not as robust as your model?

Interestingly, It’s when you posted yours after your wife got it for you that I started to think of getting a Timex for myself. I remember being fascinated by its design and presence. Bravo!

I usually wear a g shock, but the digital timex expedition I got a few months ago is really good! Great all around functionality for under 50 bucks! But it wasn't G Shocky enough! I gave it to one of my coworkers. Recently saw a really cool digital expedition because the screen was this oil slick green, but they didn't have it on the velcro strap so I had to pass.

I love the oil slick green. It makes it super legible. A lot of the nineties Ironman’s had those.
