Look at My New Speidel that Bests Casio! What is Yours?

Math has never been my strong suit. Writing is more my friend.

But when I did the math before purchasing my new Speidel all stainless steel retro digital watch (complete with the famous Twist-O-Flex band and with added three line engraving), it was only going to set me back $42.83, so I scrambled for my card…post haste!

I ordered this sleek raven on Thursday and got it today! And this came from Rhode Island. That is a Mr. McFeely Speedy Delivery to boot!

But that’s not all. This bad boy has 64 grams of heft and is all stainless steel! My F-91W is 21 grams of floaty ether and is made of (albeit soft and pliable) resin.

That’s still not all! While my new Speidel has an EL three-second backlight…

my F-91W basks ignominiously in its dim glow of mediocrity.

Though I may have offended the Casio tier gods, I have tasted the sweet proof in the pudding and profess loudly how happy I am with this purchase! I foresee this watch as a welcome mainstay on my wrist for years to come!

Do you own a watch that you have found favor with to supersede your beloved Casios? We would love to see them!

My Casio killer is my Armitron Classic Alarm Chrono. It has 100m WR, a great backlight, and a soft, comfortable silicon strap that beats any Casio strap or bracelet, all for less than $20.

That is nice! I love the red border. From a fellow Armitron admirer, I say good call!

Ironman does a lot of things really well, I'd wear it more often but for the looks.

Armitron also makes full stainless steel case retro digital watches for less than $50. Here are two in my collection.

Oh yes... That Speidel looks fantastic. I'd definitely pick it over an F91W (much as I love how it reminds me of being a kid). Room for both in the collection though 😁
