I had never seen the W-735H until a couple of weeks back when I found it on clearance at Walmart for $8.00. Being the same price as a bag of pistachios, and sporting a look of a G-Shock, who wouldn’t take it home?

I’m so glad I did, because between its feature-rich functionality and fantastic legibility…I am a little sheepish to admit I may like it more than my slick and rugged G-Shocks.

For my 8 bucks I get…

a 24 hour countdown timer…

a 24 hour stopwatch with 5 second countdown Auto Start feature…

a vibration alarm feature…

dual time, so I can keep track of our British friends…

and a super-bitching backlight.

Yeah…it’s a great watch. It is Casio through and through…with its signature graphical dials, beeps, tactile familiarity, and consistency of quality that Casio seems to pull off with just about every watch it makes. I’ve had one form or another of Casio on my wrist for about four decades…and plan to continue the tradition for years to come.
