My Freestyle Shark Maliblu is a serious surfing watch that playfully expresses itself in a symphony of complementary colors. I find relief from the pressures of the day when I look down to see a time-telling jester sitting on my wrist.
I have varied tastes. I like big, bold, and colorful watches and I also like elegant watches that are more restrained/understated. Different watches for different moods and occasions.
Depends on my mood lol. I default to a black dial, tool/military vibe. But I have some swatches, Timex, and a Freestyle shark for when I'm in a colorful mood.
Since I'm a single pass straps guy, I also have WAY too many crazy graphic straps. Best way to show some color, take your tool watch and throw it on a palm tree, Aloha print, koi, or sugar skull strap!
I’m torn between B and D…
All of them! Colorful, understated, classic elegance, Bauhaus/field...
I like watches that combine the categories you listed.

I am pretty much the very definition of basic with a twist.

I like and collect them all, the benefit of a larger collection.
Understated all the way. I have a few pieces with colorful dials, none of which scream look at me. What few compliments you get are genuine ones.
