I just removed my early 1990’s Epson movement Fossil from its tin, after weeks of storage, to find it had only gained about two seconds. Remarkable!
Though my new quartz watches are marvelously-accurate…I believe the Epson in my old Fossil bests them. Even my new Islander Bethpage with its USA 5 jewel movement falls short.

What’s your experience with vintage quartz movements? Are they more accurate? Or is this just a serendipitous fluke?
Time dictates my linear path to its bitter end. My watches keep me one step ahead of time...and bring a bit of flavor to my daily duties.
