In junior high, a kid in my biology class owned a Casio melody watch. Every day at Noon at the end of class the Winchester Chime would ring from its tiny speaker. Oh how I loved that sound!
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A little gold Elgin digital. Its display glowed by itself at night.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I sold religion in Alaska for two years in the mid 1980's. I would keep all of my appointments on my Casio 50 databank tele memo calculator watch. I still own and wear that watch to this day.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy and wear whatever gives you that little 'tingly-spark'. That watch is for you, your experiences...and your life.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Armitron. E.Gluck's ghost has apparently appeared at the foot of my bed with great horological tidings of goodness and delight.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A Breitling Montbrilliant. The dial is like looking at the schematic of Einstein's brain.
