I've been making do with an old tea-towel, a bit of water then drying up with some kitchen towel. I'm finding that I still have some smudges after this process and I did some googling and see a lot of people use "Microfibre" cloths.
Which got me thinking: why not ask to see what has/hasn't worked for you all on here?

Sorry for not offering much help but I use whatever shirt I'm wearing...
Some watch strap/ accessory sellers throw in a microfibre cloth. If you want to buy one, I'd check for cleanings cloths for camera lenses or glasses, they should do the trick.
Selvyt cloths are fairly standard issue for cleaning watches and jewelry. Microfiber is also good. Keep them clean and dedicate them just to your watches. Selvyt are on Amazon.
Usually just whatever TShirt I'm wearing seems good enough.
I use a microfibre cloth I got with a glass screen protector for my Switch.
When I'm serious, I use the Wristclean cloth and spray. Most of the time it's either a little microfiber eyeglass cleaning cloth or the big microfiber washcloth from Harbor Freight.
Microfiber. Brand doesn't matter.
For tough stains, cotton swab + alcohol.
When I ordered a watch on Chronext, they put a very nice cloth into the package. I’ve never had a better one. Unfortunately it’s unbranded and I had no idea where to buy one. I messaged Chronext and politely asked where I can get them and they sent me another 3 cloths for free 😊
Thanks for all your answers, I appreciate the help and advice.
